One of the goals for 8th grade earth science is for the students to be actively engaged in science. There are limitless possibilities for extra credit in the class. Students can research a topic of interest to them and write a paper on it. Students can perform an experiment that they find in the book or online and write up the results. Students can make and design models dealing with scientific topics. If your student is looking for extra credit options and can't decide on something based on these options please have them talk to me. (Extra credit can be applied to raise their grade 10% maximum) |
