7th Grade Regular Math

Course Philosophy: 

God created an orderly and understandable universe. He has given us mathematics in order to cultivate our ability to reason, to stimulate our imagination, to sharpen our insights into the world around us, and as a language for communicating ideas. All students will have the opportunity to learn mathematics and to develop a positive attitude toward mathematics. Our goal is to ensure mastery of the mathematics core objectives for all students and to provide extended learning opportunities in mathematics. We believe that God reveals himself through His Word and through creation. In this class students will develop mathematical minds that will help them to explore, understand, and appreciate creation and thereby better serve God and our fellow man. We believe that Christianity impacts every area of our life. Math therefore must also be viewed through our Christian worldview. We will learn how math can be used in our daily lives to honor our God.
